Brief
The challenge was to create a brand identity that felt as innovative and "bright" as the hardware itself. The branding needed to resonate with a technical audience while remaining accessible to those just beginning their journey in code.
Solution
Working within a team of three, we developed the "VEGA" identity, inspired by the sky’s brightest star to reflect innovation. The visual language utilizes coding syntax, using C++ and Java brackets to frame key messaging across digital and print. My individual focus was bringing the brand to life through bespoke motion design; I personally executed all animations, including a hero logo that rotates from a placeholder <EG> into the VEGA wordmark. The result is a "living" brand that makes the technical world of coding feel dynamic, modern, and accessible.
Result
The final identity successfully bridges the gap between education and high-level tech. By pairing a collaborative approach to the brand identity with my bespoke motion design, we created a 'living' brand. The animated elements, in particular, work to make the technical world of coding feel dynamic, modern, and driven by innovation.
